AP state meat and Poultry corporation chairman Prakash Naidu organised surprise inspections along with health wing officials to chicken retail stalls in Suddapalli donka,Manipuram Bridge and Nallacheruvu.100kgs of stale chicken was found in refrigerators of various stalls.The chicken was stored to supply to various Hotels and restaurents.
The chairman orderd Health officer Sobha rani to seize the stalls where the stale neat was found and gave notices to the owners of the stalls which became a health hazard to the people.He asked the health wing officials to destroy the meat on spot and imposed a fine Rs.95000 for breaching the public health rules.
He warned other retailers that severe actions will be taken on anyone who was doing unethical practices in bussiness.
