Finally!! Traffic police concentrated on the major issue in Guntur and promised Hassle free traffic with in the next three months.
Guntur Urban Superintendent of Police Sarvashresth Tripathi went on a drive to inspect traffic junctions in Guntur on Tuesday.

After bifurcation of Telangana and Andhra. There’s a huge increase in traffic in Guntur and Vijayawada cities.By looking into this issues,police launched a major drive to control the traffic at various points in Guntur.

Sarvashresth Tripathi also mentioned that within few months,bottle necks and road widening works will be completed. Already amaravathi road which is major road for Guntur is facing a serious issue regarding traffic. Widening works are started and soon it will be completed.

“With in three months, all major roads in Guntur will be extended and freed of patches.Bottle necks will be cleared and extended,” Mr.Tripathi said.

Tripathi beginning with Chuttugunta Junction, he inspected Guntur NTR RTC Bus stand and Manipuram Rail over Bridge and gave some suggestions to the traffic police.

Contractor who is working on bridge at KVP Colony had left the job unfinished. S P contacted the contractor to complete the work in the mean time. Near ITC office, two bus shelters have been proposed.

Traffic signal point at Ethu road has been proposed. He also said to the traffic police that to continue one way at the Flower market center and parking on one side which makes the road hassle free from traffic.

He strictly said to RTC personnel not to board the passengers on the main road opposite to Guntur Main Bus stand.

Lets hope for Better Guntur with hassle free traffic. All roads are being extended. We all can see that ring road which connects vidya nagar and koritipadu is extended. S.V.N Colony to Perecharla road is extended. Pattabhipuram main road is widened.All roads are being layered with fine toned tar.Last to mention, lakshmipuram main road is layered. Beautification of dividers started.
