We have heard numerous incidents of misbehavior with doctors and medical officials so far, but this time a h ospital staff member did the same to a patient’s attendant. Srinivas, a fourth class employee at the Government General Hospital attacked Nagaraju, who was a patient’s relative. Enraged upon being questioned for the delay in treatment, Srinivas dragged Nagaraju along the hospital corridors, thrashed him and later locked him inside a room. The entire incident was caught on a CCTV camera installed inside the hospital premises.
Soon the one who was beaten had gone to the superintendent to give a complaint on the staff member who attacked him. Superintendent begged him not to leak this issue. He complained the same to police and now the investigation is on. Soon that staff member will be behind bars, said police.
