Our beloved Municipal Commissioner S. Nagalakshmi, who has been transferred from the service and appointed as Prakasam Joint Collector, has left a huge mark in the city during her service. Ms. Nagalakshmi handed over the charge to Regional Director,Municipal Administration, Ch. Anuradha. Anuradha will be holding full additional charge as Municipal Commissioner till further orders.
Focused in widening of several roads
In widening of several roads, beautification of the town and mainly Drainage system in Underground, Ms. Naga lakshmi played a key role and city skyline has undergone a remarkable change. The Guntur Municipal Corporation(GMC) has also received an Open Defecation free award and it was given by Union Urban Development Minister M. Venkaiah Naidu
