Andhra Pradesh Finance Minister Yanamala RamaKrishnudu was Presented BUDGET for the year 2017-18 with Many compromises and Targeted with vision 2023 at A.P. Assembly and TDP Government Keeps Their Promises For Giving Place For UNEMPLOYMENT Compensation
Here are the Budget 2017-18 Highlights:
- Total Budget : Rs 1.56 lakh crores
- Revenue Expenditure :Rs 1.25 lakh crores
- Capital Expenditure : Rs 31,087 crores
- For Economic Services – Rs 56,575.53 crores which includes Agriculture and Allied Services (Rs 9,090 crores), Rural development (Rs 19,565 crores), Irrigation (Rs 12,770 crores) and Energy (Rs 4,275 crores)
- For Social Services – Rs Rs 51,268.91 crores including General Education (Rs 20,384 crores), Welfare (Rs 11,361 crores) and Medical (Rs 7,020 crores)
- For General Services – Rs 49,154.96 crores
- For Development of Visakhapatnam, Tirupati and Kakinada as Smart Cities -Rs 450 crores ( Central Selected Cities )
- There 13 Cities Declared as Smart Cities by AP government – Rs 150 Crores
- For Anna Canteens – Rs 200 Crores
- For Unemployment Compensation – Rs 500 Crores
- For Capital Region Development Authority(CRDI) – Rs 1,061 Crores
- For High speed circular sub-urban train project between Vijayawada-Amaravati-Guntur-
Tenali to this specially – Rs 100 Crores - Capital Infusion for the Development of Women and Children in rural areas – Rs 1,600 Crores
- Establishment of Old Age Homes with a capacity of 100 in each at Vishakapatanam , Guntur and Ananthapur
- Establishment of Ghantasala Musuem Bapu Museum , Kakinada Andhra Sahitya Parishad and Amaravati Heritage Centre in Vijayawada
- Establishment of Eight Mega Food Processing Parks in Association with Public-private parternship in Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, East Godavari, Srikakulam , Kurnool, Anantapur and Chittor
- Development of Hope Island in Konaseema, Nellore and Kakinada Coast as Tourist Spots(A.P.TOURISM)
- Establishment of Industrial Development Corridor In Andhra pradesh (APIDC)
- For Establishing Ambedkar Smriti Vanam in Amaravati marking the 125th Birth Anniversary of BR Amedkar this year.
