An accident took place at R.K beach turned to be tragic for a family, one of its members died on the spot and three others from the same family is survived with injuries in an accident on Sunday.
This occurred when the driver of Sri Prakash school bus that was coming down the Taj Gateway Hotel road towards RK Beach, lost control. The driver was unable to control the bus as it rammed the opposite footpath and the beach wall at Novotel.
The accident occurred around 8:30 pm when the children attended an award function and were about to reach their homes. Luckily, the children were ready to board the bus, said ADCP(traffic)K.Mahendra Patrudu.
As per the reports from the police, the deceased member was identified as Dharma Rao who is a father of Additional Superintended of AP SIB(State Intelligence Bureau)D N Kishore. Son and Daughter of Mr.Kishore were also injured in the accident. Apart from this a 10-year-old and the driver of the bus, Krishna was also injured.
T.Yoganand who visited the spot said that a team would be appointed in association with the help of RTA to investigate the case.” He also said that the team will check if the driver was drunk or the brakes had failed and also estimate the condition of the vehicle”. Road engineering should be relooked because this is the third similar type of accident at the same spot R.K Beach.
