New Domestic services are going to start from Vijayawada Airport. A major head start for our New Capital.
We all ready know that a new terminal is opened this month at Gannavaram which is build with a whooping budget of 176 crore. Last month on feb 19th, It has started a new Service from Vijayawada to Varanasi is getting huge traffic from travelers. Before it takes 32 hours to reach varanasi but now it takes around 3 hours to reach Kasi .So many people are prefering to use this service .We can say that this recent service is getting gud Response and 90% of seats in this service are filling though the boeing730-800 flight has 180 seats capacity .In every service 170 seats gets occupied and if this traffic continues then airport authoruty of India is ready to start another services in this route .Daily service starts at afternoon 2:30 p.m and reaches to Hyderbad and from then connective flights are available for Mumbai , Surat , Ahmedabad , Chennai , Coimbatore and Delhi
ZOOM DOMESTIC SERVICE FROM VIJAYAWADA TO VARANASI
From May 22nd ,Zoom Flight Services are going to start their services from Vijayawada Airport to Mumbai and all plans and arrangements were made. Slots bookings are also opened said airport Chief -‘ MadhuSudhan Rao ‘ .Actual flight route starts in Surat and then it reaches tirupati , Vijayawada and Mumbai. So ,Passengers from Vijayawada can take Flight to Mumbai Directly.
In recently opened Terminal a huge Traffic is reported and coming to the stats, Last year there are 1.4 lakh people travelled through this airport and now it has been increased to 10.5-11 lakhs .So many Companies are Ready to Start Their Domestic Services from Vijayawada to various cities . The new Terminal has VIP longue , Meeting Rooms For Officials and Seperate Rooms for Aiport Authority members.
