The Most Succesful and Famous Business Grandhi Subbarao , chairman of Crane Betel Nuts was passed way on fridy at his residence in A.T.Agraharam of Guntur City . The 87-years old Subbarao was suffering from ill health from past few days

Crane, the betel nut powder has become one of the top brand for betel nuts in india and has become part of Telugu culture since Subba Rao founded the industry in 1952.
The passing of Subba Rao, was the one of great loss for industries development in Guntur and He is survived by his son Kantha Rao and he who has doing great in expansion of crane betel nuts through out the country and brought brand fame for crane and also reached above Rs 100 crore business empire in 2013, when his father had declared his retirement. He also had four daughters.
Grandhi Subba Rao, who established the Crane Betel nut Industries and began his career way back in the early 1952 with a capital of Rs 100 given by his father, selling belet nut supari and oils on a bicycle in around villages in Guntur and guntur town and currently his betel nuts has become a brand fame and crossed its turn over 100 crores yearly 
In a condolence message, C.M N. Chandrababu Naidu said” Crane Subba Rao’s successful entreprener and also inspiration to the younger generation. He also proved that eductaion is not required for showing talent and He conveyed his condolences to rao’s family
