As we all know that,Krishna Pushkar will start from 12th of this month. A huge flow of pilgrims are expected. Adminstration said that 8 to 10 lakh people are expected to take a holy dip in krishna river.That is the reason we arranged 79 Ghats for smooth flow of traffic.
The works were being undertaken in Gorantla, Amaravathi,, AIIMS premises, Krishna Canal Junction and Tadepalli. Each nagar will accommodate a huge number of pilgrims i.e 1lakh per one pushkar nagar. Road signs from RTC Bus stand to Pushkaram nagar were placed in Bus stand. So, no pilgrim gets confused by the routes.
19 PUSHKAR NAGARS IN GUNTUR
24/7 buses are being operated by APSRTC. APSDCL will provide generators. Panchyat Raj development provides temporary toilets.Police will provide 24/7 security at Ghats as well as in Nagar. Deputy Collector will be appointed as in-charge for Pushkar Nagars. He will coordinate with the officials of different departments and provide necessary facilities to the pilgrims.3000 sanitation workers are being appointed to operate sanitation works in Ghats and Nagars.
600 Purohits will be allowed at each Ghat for chanting mantras for Pinda Pradhanam.
