Cheif Minister N Chandrababu Naidu will lay foundation stone for Amrita Univeristy in Yerrabalem village in our district.Collector instructed everyone to arrrange tight security and additional police forces are deployed to maintain law and order by urban SP.
The state govt alloted 150 acrs for the univeristy management in Yerrabalem.In the first phase they are constructing buildings for Engineering and management courses with a cost of 150cr.A medical college and a super specialty will be constructed in second phase.Classes will be commeneced from August.
This is one of the prestigious universities in India.It was the third University established in Amaravati along with VIT and SRM.
