After the bifurcation of Andhra state our state left with revenue deficit and even without a capital city. Our CM visioned a capital on the bank of Krishna river around Tulluru region in Guntur district. But that vision costs around 40000 acres of fertile agriculture land.

To avoid the complications of Land Acquisition act govt started a new method Land Pooling. In this farmers are compensated with a proportionate piece of developed land. They are paid with pension every year.

Farmers here are rich in farming and they three types of crops a year and they are well settled.Their livelihood is agriculture. They are in a dilemma between the hopes of future world class capital and uncertainty of government officers.

There are around 500 farmers refused to land pooling while some other farmers are agreed to it.The govt should take measures and have to win belief of the farmers of this region
