Famous Orthopaedician from our city Guntur Dr B Narendra Reddy was awarded the Honourable and Prestigious Miami state medical record holders association certificate and medal recently.
He was a famous Knee and bone specialist conducted many knee joint surgeries and replacements and voluntary services in the health camps conducted by government and also at Guntur general hospital (GGH).
This award was given to him a token for the free services he had done for the poor people and as a recognition for his voluntary services.It is presented as a merit certificate.
He has conducted many surgeries with his own money and had done a marathon of 10 knee replacement surgeries and Rs 10 lakh expenditure at the GGH.
He even asked many other surgeons from the Indian orthopaedic association to conduct many free services and free surgeries.H e has done highest number of free surgeries in India and IOA has suggested his name for the certificate.
Our Honourable Chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu congratulated him for his selfless services and helping nature when he met him along with Minister for civil supplies P Pulla Rao at the secretariat. He said he would conduct such surgeries again in the future as well.
We hope our country comes up with the same selfless attitude and make India a better for the future
