Recently Guntur citizens are facing a lot of problems with the money deficit in the ATMs.According to the sources in the last 3 months around 2800 crores were withdrawn from the nationalised banks in Guntur district.As the FRDI bill was introduced last year,the people are feeling fear about the security of their money and they are withdrawing their money from FDs.
And due to the money defecit from ATMs people are not depositing money in the banks.There are 284 nationalized bank branches in Guntur.They have granted loans of around 33k Cr.But they have only 27kCr in Fixed Deposits.
“I cannot leave my little money to the looters of the back” said by a citizen while withdrawing his 3lakhs of FD.RBI and banks are not taking measures to win the confidence of people.
