On Guntur-Vijayawada express highway we will find massive area covering blue tents and huge gatherings of people every year .That massive gathering was Bible mission annual convention and this year from January 27 to 29.The vast ground before Nagarjuna University was the venue for this convention every year.
Arrangements were started and going on full swing and the organisers are expecting around 7 lakh people this year.The venue is spread over 70 acres and the stage itself is 90 feet x 30 feet. Over 400 volunteers are working round-the-clock to ensure that the event completes without any flaw. About 40 tonnes of rice, most of it donated by pilgrims, would be used for feeding visitors.
South Central Railway and RTC are making special arrangements for pilgrims and a reservation counter at Nambur railway station would be in place.Some trains like Golconda express(Guntur to Hyderabad) and Simhadri express(Guntur to Vizag) are going to halt at Nagarjuna Nagar station for two minutes from jan 27 to 30 according to SCR press release.
