Janasena cheif Pawan Kalyan visited diarrhoea patients in GGH today and extended his support and demanded justice to them.After his public meeiting in ANU grounds Pawan Kalyan said that he will stay in Guntur untill Ugadi.
He reached GGH today morning 10 AM and he demanded the govt to take measures for the people.If there is no response from government in 2 days he called for a bundh in Guntur.
Talking to the media, Pawan Kalyan said, In Guntur, almost everything is adulterated and contaminated even the drinking water.It is the minimum responsibility of the government to supply clean and safe drinking water. If the govt. fails to even supply safe and clean drinking water, how will the government develop Andhra Pradesh.He demanded the govt to send senior level IAS officer to control the situation.
The YSRCP leaders staged a dharna at the Guntur Municipal Corporation demanding inquiry into deaths caused by diarrhoea. Addressing the media YSRCP city president Lella Appi Reddy criticised that though 13 persons died of diarrhoea in the city, the government did not set up any committee to conduct a probe into circumstances that led to diarrhoea and added that the government had failed to check diarrhoea cases during the past two weeks.
