President of India Ram Nath Kovind will tour Guntur district on Wednesday.
He will leave his Rashtrapati Nilayam in Bollaram in Hyderabad and take an IAF aircraft at 8.45 a.m. from Hakimpet airport to reach Gannavaram airport here at 9.35 a.m.
He will next take an MI 17 IAF aircraft and reach the helipad at Guntur Bible Mission grounds from where he will proceed to Acharya Nagarjuna University to attend the Indian Economic Association Centenary celebrations there.
After the event, Mr. Kovind will proceed to AP Secretariat to dedicate to the nation AP Fibre Grid, AP Surveillance Project and Drone Project and other projects.
He will also examine the models of the proposed capital city Amaravati and visit a photo exhibition, followed by his address to the nation.
The President will leave for Hyderabad at 3.10 p.m.
