Staying in Guntur traffic is as equal as staying in hell. The roads are narrow and vehicles, autos are congested on roads, parking of vehicles are also on the roads in our city.Traffic management is very difficult in our city.As the city is progressing rapidly this problem is major headache to GMC.

After a long time a series of initiatives were launched fot traffic maintainance in busy roads and evening rush hours by our Urban Police.

The traffic police had decongested the busy Hindu College Junction where autos parked near the fuel station used to block traffic towards Arundelpet.

People who alight from buses from Narasaraopet used to walk up to the fuel station and board the waiting autorickshaws. The Traffic police opened up the free left and created a separate pathway for pedestrians which leads to the road opposite Wolf Hall and board the autos.

The Naaz Centre Junction, which used to witness traffic jams, was also improved.

The traffic police erected ‘V,’ shaped barricades to regulate the traffic and opened up free left pathways.

Traffic junction improvements at the busy Collectorate Junction were made. The traffic police created free left pathways to let incoming traffic to ensure smooth traffic flow from the Collectorate.

By these efforts traffic problem can be reduced a little.
