Tourist Places: Guntur is a district of having diversified history and high geographical importance.There are many tourist spots in Guntur.

1.AMARAVATI

Now it was emerging as world-class capital but it has its unique place in history since ancient India.Amaralingeswara Swamy temple on the bank of Krishna and the holy place for Buddhists as it has antiquities of Buddha.

2.KOTAPPAKONDA

Trikoteswara Swamy temple on the hill is one of the holy places one should not miss.Mahashivaratri is celebrated in a great way here.

3.GUTTIKONDA BILAM

Guthikonda Caves are situated near Karampudi, which is about 38 km from Narasaraopet in Guntur District of Andhra Pradesh. There is a rumor that after Palnadu war Brahmanaidu went into these caves and never returned.This is the hell of a place that will attract adventurers and history lovers.

4.KONDAVEEDU FORT

Kondaveedu best place to hang out with our gangs.Those who want thrill and adventure should not miss this.Moreover, this kondaveedu fort is a part of our heritage.

5.UPPALAPADU BIRD SANCTUARY

Nature lovers should not miss this as the birds from Siberia migrate to uppalapadu.

These are the rock-cut caves that are built in the 7th century.This is a historical site.

7.ETHIPOTHALA WATERFALLS

These waterfalls near Macherla and 12km distance from Nagarjuna Sagar.There is Dattatreya temple near this falls.Be aware Crocodiles are found in that water.

8.SURYA LANKA BEACH

A summer destination for everyone in Guntur.Beach resorts and it is one of the finest beaches in our state. This beach is located in Bapatla and 40km from Guntur City. You can take an APSRTC Bus or a Train to Bapatla
