AP LIKELY TO HAVE 28 DISTRICTS BY SANKRANTHI?

Our Andhra Pradesh after bifurcation formed with 13 districts.These 13 distr-icts are the same districts as in united AP.Telangana government successfully implemented the delimitation of distr-icts for better governance.Now AP govt is looking forward for delimitation of distr-icts.

As we know already that delimitation of constituencies are happening increasing from 175 to 225 virtually finalised with the report submitted by former advocate general Mukul Rohatgi to the Centre AP is focussing on bifurcation of states.There are likely to be around 28 distr-icts according to a source.These are the districts likely to be formed as new distr-icts.

 

Srikakulam District – Palakonda

Vizianagaram District – Parvathipuram

Visakhapatnam – Araku

East Godavari – Kakinada & Amarapulam

West Godavari – Eluru

Krishna District – Gudiwada & Machilipatnam

Guntur – Ponnuru & Narsaraopet

Prakasam – Kandukuru

Kadapa – Pulivendula

Chittoor – Tirupati

Kurnool – Nandyal

In our Guntur two new districts likely to be formed Ponnur and Narasaropet.These two are major constituencies in our state.These two have the capability of forming new districts.

There is no offficial notofication from the government and there is no clarity on what basis delimitation is going tohappen either depending on assembly constituencies or Population.Notification liekly to be release by Sankrathi and it was no official yet.
