British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) is going to film a documentry on Guntur chillli.BBC documentry film unit visited mirchi yard yesterday interacted with chairman and traders.
Guntur mirchi yard was the largest in Asia and chilli varities like Teja chilli,Guntur sannalu are exported to around 12 countries across the world.After Mexico guntur mirchi yard holds the largest exports of Chilli.
Cherry, Francis and John Sam from the BBC accompanied by ITC manager Bhaskar visited the Mirchi yard.They interacted with traders and asked about prices quality.They also came to know about latest method eNAM in mirchi yard.
Mr. Francis said that he was impressed with the transparency in trading and appreciated the market committee for providing facilities such as drinking water and rest rooms for farmer.
