The Guntur Muncipal Corporation was placed in 118th Swachh sarvekshan rank in the survey among 434 cities in 2016.The top 73 cities last year are taken up by Union Urban development ministry for development.
The centre will consider swachh sarvekshan rank for the release of funds which will help in further growth of the city.The amenities in city must be clean to get better rank.
Our city commissoner Anuradha garu attending 6 to 10 reviews on dialy basis.She said”We have set an admirable target of reaching the top 10.We know it is not going to be easy, so we are not taking chances”
It is our duty to keep our city clean.Lets make it collectively and place Guntur in top 10 clean cities of India.
