5 students drowned while swimming near Pushkar Ghat. This tragic incident took place at yetur located in Guntur District.11 Students belonging to nandigama chaitanya college decided to take a holy dip at Pushkar Ghat and rented a boat and reached the pushkar ghat. But the depth is very high.6 out of 11 were rescued,but another 5 students left their lives. Swimming experts dived into the river and found the bodies.
Passers say that ploughing sand inside the water is the main cause to this tragic incident.But this is completely students mistake said police. Sign boards were kept to not to swim in this location due to high depth.But students did not take this serious and lost their lifes.Police lodged a case.Soon, correct compensation will be released,said S.I
