Finally!!!! Face lift to Guntur Bus stand. APSRTC( Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation) decided to develop Bus stands in Guntur and Vijayawada to get a capital look. We all know that Vijayawada bus stand is renovated like no bus stand in India. It’s the first bus stand to have multiplex. Toilets are renovated to world class level.Even in Guntur,works are going on. Waiting seats are changed and Big led is being placed to satisfy each passenger who waits for a bus.

Now RTC decided to develop Guntur Bus stand with a budget of 40 lakh. First they will set up a video wall at a cost of Rs 30 lakh to provide entertainment and information to the passengers who are waiting for a bus. 47 CC Cameras will be setup at arrival and departure blocks in the bus stand at a cost of 10 Lakh. These cameras will be linked up to a central room,which will be monitored by an official in RTC. In case of any emergency, they will alert police to take any further action.
Our Bus stand will be modified before Krishna Pushkaralu. RTC Officials decided to operate more buses between Guntur and Vellagapudi(Place where Temporary Secretariat is located).At present RTC is wielding a bus to Vellagapudi every 30 minutes.
After shifting of employees to Temporary Secretariat, RTC will operate 80 additional bus services between Guntur and Mangalagiri. Similarly, RTC is ready to operate Volvo, Garuda and Garuda Plus services for Employees going to Hyderabad from Temporary Secretariat on weekends.
RTC already provided online reservation from Tullur Bus stand. They are searching to park their buses near Temporary Secretariat and other Government offices in Guntur.
